About Leather Worx & Trailer Worx

...you will also find the rustic charm, fair prices and friendly service that has made Leather Worx such a great success.
LeatherWorx is a great example of the American success story of taking something you love, and turning it into a great business. Brownie Grissom owned and operated a successful security company for over 27 years. Upon retiring, he and his wife Jane set out to see this great nation of ours, traveling the country in their RV, and on their Harley Davidson.

After about 4 years of great times and great travels, Brownie started feeling the pull of the business world again. He knew he wanted to run another business, but the question was what to do. After some soul searching, Brownie told Jane that he wanted to take his passion for biking, and transform it into a business. So, in 2004, Leather Worx was born in a small storefront in Sparta, TN. Like everything else in life, Brownie went after his new business wide open. With hard work, quality merchandies, and great customer customer service, he quickly outgrew his first location and moved to a larger retail outlet in Cookeville, TN. Even this new location wasn't large enough to contain LeatherWorx's growing customer base.

In September 2012, despite battling a harsh economy for the past 4 years, Brownie grew his business again, and moved into a giant log cabin, right off I-40, in Baxter, TN. This beautiful cabin brings a taste of Smoky Mountain style shopping to the Upper Cumberland region. With a separate room dedicated to different accessories, Leather Worx offers some thing for everyone. Whether you ride a classic Harley Davidson, or sleek sport bike, you can find all the leather, rain gear, helments, shaders, and just about any other accessory that you need at Leather Worx. As a bonus, you will also find the rustic charm, fair prices and friendly service that has made Leather Worx such a great success.

If you find yourself riding in the Upper Cumberland area, stop by to see ther selections and enjoy the charm, sit on the front porch or the back deck. Get Brownie to tell you a great story that only comes from a life-time of business and riding. You'll be glad you did.
